Thank you to everyone who came along to the Matariki Seniors/Kaumātua Morning Tea on Tuesday, 25th June, brought to you by the Pegasus Bay School and Pegasus Residents' Group (PRGI).
There was a huge turnout of 93 attendees who enjoyed the morning tea, the junior and senior Kapa Haka Group performances, and the tamariki's Matariki displays.
The tamariki work hard on their performances and artwork each year in the lead-up to the event. Special thanks to teachers Emily and Sonya who do so much work behind the scenes.
This is one of the PRGI's favourite events and we love joining forces with Pegasus Bay School to help bring it to the community. Thank you to the Woodend-Sefton Community Board for providing funds to help us get everything we needed for the morning tea.
This year we brought the delicious scones with cream and jam from Andy and the team at Good Home Pegasus who did a wonderful job.
A big thank you to our PRGI Committee members and volunteers, Pete, Marina, Ingrid, and Colin and the wonderful parents who helped out.
