WHERE: PEGASUS COMMUNITY CENTRE

TIME: 6.00PM - 7.30PM

Note: Please wear a mask at the Pegasus Community Centre

The draft Walking and Cycling Network Plan will impact how we stay connected in our community and district. Come and learn how it will affect you and your family.

Head along to the Pegasus drop-in session with Waimkariri District Council to give your feedback on the draft network plan for walking and cycling across the district. At the event you can view larger maps that show the proposed routes - and get all your questions answered. Draft Walking and Cycling Network Plan The draft plan shows what routes are already in place and where new links and routes are proposed to make better connections in and around our towns. It also shows the type of facility for each route which relate to the different kinds of people who may use them according to their skill level (low, medium, high). One of the prioritised cycleways identified is Woodend to Pegasus (SH1)

The Council wants your feedback on:

  • Have they got the right links and connections in place?

  • What routes should they prioritise?

  • Have they got the time frame for delivering proposed cycleways right?

  • Any other comments or things you would like them, to think about when developing this walking and cycling network plan.
