Gladstone Dog Park Upgrade - Funding approved!

As many users of the Gladstone dog park will know, it has been looking a little worse for wear with gaps under the fences where dogs can escape, holes appearing in various locations in the park alongside a need for shelter for dog park users.

Woodend/Sefton Community Board were aware of the issues and have been discussing options. As part of that process, we had the opportunity to provide feedback from park users.

At our May PRGI committee meeting, Ian Fong, from the Woodend/Sefton Community Board advised that funding has been approved by the Council to improve the Pegasus Dog park.

Plans are being drawn up for improvements, and some repair work has already begun on the fences and filling in holes.

Thank you to the dog park users who have been proactive in voicing their concerns.

The funding is a great outcome for everyone who uses the park (two and four legged!).

We will continue to keep everyone updated as progress is made.
